Q: Hi there, we are interested on working with you on our new clothing line/skate company/record sleeve/merch design, how much will it cost?

A: Well, how long is a piece of string? I don’t have a set pricing structure, as such, as each project is different. The best thing to do is drop me an email to discuss the work further. I would say that including what your budget might be, in the email, would be beneficial. This way I can assess if it’s a project I’m likely to be able to do, while still keeping food on the table, and a roof over my head.

Q: Can I buy some of your work?

A: Yes, of course you can. There's a link up there... up at the top. That's it!

Q: I’m interested to know how you make your work. What is your process? And what materials do you use?

A: I work in a pretty old fashioned way. Starting off with a pencil sketch, moving on to the Wacom Cintiq and Photoshop. I try to limit myself to only do in Photoshop, what I could do by hand. It’s just a lot less messy. After that, a lot of the work I make is then screen printed... except when it isn't. 

Q: I’m a student and I’m writing my dissertation/professional practice module, would you mind answering some questions?

A: Feel free to drop me a line, if I have a time, I’ll help in any way I can.

Q: I really want to become an illustrator, what do i do?

A: Draw. Draw until you can draw no more, then draw some more. It takes years of poverty, practice, a hermit like existence and gallons of ink before you can ever really hope to find your ‘style’. Talent will go some way, but there is an awful lot of hard work involved as well.

Q: Will you do an interview for my Blog/Magazine/Fanzine/Website/Podcast?

A: Yes I will. How nice of you to ask.

Q: Hey Man! I want to design work for bands and make posters. Could you give me all the contacts you have spent years building up?

A: No.

Q: Yo, Dude! I LUV UR WORK ITS SICK!!!! Can you design me a tattoo?!

A: Maybe. If you are in a position where you can commission me to produce new work, purely for the use of getting it tattooed about your person, then I’m pretty much fine with that. Like I stated earlier, I don’t have set price guidelines, so how much it would cost would be dependent on a lot of variables. I’d also have to be happy with the choice of tattoo artist, and would probably need to speak to them in regards to what they would feel comfortable doing. 
All that said, I would urge you to find a tattoo artist who's work you love and get them to design you something. They will do a far better job than I would. 

Q: Yo, man your work is sick! Can I get a large sized image so I can get it tattooed by my friend?

A: No. Unless you are the client the work has been done for, I’m not in a position to pass along high resolution images. Oh, and for god sake, go to a proper tattooist.

Q: Does anyone even read the FAQ section on websites?

A: No, I can’t imagine they do.

Q: Are you a wizard?

A: No, I’m a graphic artist.
